City Living and Growing Plants

I moved to the city some 10 years ago. This was a great move for me except for one fact: I have a green thumb. Trying to plan anything in the city is extremely difficult. The air is bad, there’s, there’s very little sunlight. However recently I discovered a method that works extremely well in cities. A combination of hydroponics and grow tents.

If you’ve never heard of either these things, then you’re definitely in luck! Growth tends, or freestanding greenhouses, are basically little tense when you have your plants. The material used to create these tents allows maximum retention of heat, and acts as an incubator to keep your plants warm. Some of them have built-in panels to allow light and, however with the combination of hydroponic lights you don’t even need to do that.

Hydroponics is the method by which you can grow plants without using soil. This makes grown plants a lot lighter, and the entire process a lot easier to manage. Through proper nutrition of minerals and water you can virtually do any type of plant in any environment. It’s really easy to do to get started hydroponics as well. You can simply look online or in your local store for hydroponics kits and they will have everything you need to get started.

The combination of hydroponic lighting and grip tents is really what makes it phenomenal. Both of these work wonders by themselves, but the results when you combine it multiply. You are able to grow anything a lot faster than you normally would in an outside environment. Plus he can grow things that were not normally grow in your region. Lastly these are perfect for cities because they are vertical. Whereas traditional gardens you spread out and fill it was horizontal ground space as possible, grow tents have multiple tiered shelves, which allow you to grow vertically. This means that they take up very little space and are very easy to manage.

If you’re going to use a hydroponic lighting method, then you’ll want to do your research ahead of time. There are lots of different CFL grow lights out there, however it you want to make sure that you get the best. Do some simple search on Google, and you can find lots of different tutorials on how to set up your hydroponics kit. Once you get started, you’re on your way to success already!
